Million-Miler Flyer Rewards
When you have flown one million miles on United, you are rewarded with some exclusive benefits including:
- Premier Executive status for life
- Three (3) Systemwide Upgrades when you reach one million flight miles
- Two (2) confirmed Regional Upgrades at the end of each year
100% 1K mileage bonuses
As a 1K member, your rewards include
the highest automatic Mileage Plus
bonus offereda 100% 1K bonus on your paid miles, based on flight origin and
destination on United, United Express, and TedSM. This
bonus is also valid on all US Airways, US Airways Express, US Airways Shuttle, and transatlantic Lufthansa flights between the U.S. and Europe.
This 1K mileage bonus is in addition to the credit you receive for the paid
miles you fly, based on the origin and destination of your flights.
Star Alliance Gold benefits
1K members also receive Star Alliance Gold
benefits when flying on any Star Alliance airline. These
benefits include:
- Priority airport check-in
- Priority reservations waitlist when the flight or eligible fare requested is full
on any Star Alliance member airline
- Priority baggage allowance, which allows one additional checked bag, for a total of three, for all flights on Star Alliance carriers where the piece concept applies in any class of service (or an additional 20 kilos weight allowance where the weight concept applies).
- Priority airport standby (where allowed by law) if you do not have a confirmed
reservation on a Star Alliance flight

As a Premier Executive 1K member, you'll receive a discount off the annual
membership dues.
Important notes about your 1K
membership
Unless otherwise stated, the terms and conditions set forth in the Mileage
Plus Program Rules are applicable to the Premier program, including rules
for mileage accrual, award redemption and conditions affecting the use of
certificates, such as stopovers, open jaws and area of travel.
Qualification Period
Qualification is required each year, based on paid miles or segments flown between January 1 and December 31. The benefits for 2006 1K status presented here are for members who qualified in the 2005 calendar year or during 2006.
Annual elite benefits are valid for 14 months from the beginning of each calendar year. Each Premier Executive 1K membership card is valid through the end of February of the following year.
Members who qualify for a 2006 elite membership will receive their 2006 cards in the first quarter of 2006. Always retain your current card until your new one arrives.
Program benefits and qualifications are subject to change from year to year. All Mileage Plus miles earned on United Airlines, Ted, United Express, US Airways and Star Alliance partner flights are based on origin and destination of paid flights. Most bonus miles do not count toward earning elite status.
